On Wednesday, October 15 she will be speaking on the topic “3 Big Questions that Shape Every Teenager.” Bring your youth group!
Teenagers ask all kinds of questions—from “What’s for dinner?” to “Why are you always in my business?” But underneath, every teenager is searching for answers to their 3 biggest questions: Who am I? Where do I fit? What difference can I make?
Young people struggle to find life-giving answers to these questions on their own. They need parents and other caring adults willing to lean in with empathy, practice listening, and gently point them in the direction of better answers. Based on new landmark research from the Fuller Youth Institute, this session will give you practical ideas for what to say and do to help teenagers answer their three big questions and reach their full potential. You’ll be empowered with practical ideas to try in your next conversation with young people this week!
On Thursday, October 16 the topic will be “Future-Focused Church.”

Biography
Kara Powell, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Fuller Youth Institute (FYI), the founder of the TENx10 Collaboration, and the Chief of Leadership of Leadership Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary. Named by Christianity Today as one of “50 Women to Watch,” Kara speaks regularly at national parenting and leadership conferences, and is the author or co-author of a number of books.
