Dr. Alan “Blues” Baker – Chaplain Connect

Dr. Baker’s theme for the day is “Navigating the Currents of 21st-Century Chaplaincy.” There will be three sessions geared toward the work of chaplains: Session 1: “Vessel at Sea” Session 2: “Charting the Course” Session 3: “Standing the Watch” Alan T. “Blues” Baker is an educator, author, consultant and coach. He is an experienced chaplain who communicates the value of chaplaincy through a ministry of presence. Rev. Dr. Baker also serves as a faith group supervisor of chaplain ministries. Jaclyn Williams and Mary Glenn are returning to Pella to provide follow-up to their “The Power of Presence” seminar in 2023! Both speakers are faculty members at Fuller Theological Seminary and are co-chairs of the MA in Chaplaincy degree program at the seminary.
