Aaron serves at Dordt University as the Chief of Staff and Dean of Chapel. His wife of 22 years, Nicole Baart is a best-selling author (novelist) and together they have 5 kids from 4 different countries, ranging in age from 11-18. In 2013, they co-founded One Body One Hope, a church planting and community development non-profit in Liberia, West Africa. Aaron writes and speaks regularly on issues of culture, missions, and sexuality. In 2014, he co-authored Vivid: Deepening Your Colors with Syd Hielema.
