Vermeer Charitable Foundation has hosted notable speakers for more than a decade in its efforts to promote lifelong self-care and spiritual formation among Christian leaders through networking local pastors and churches with leadership resources. 

October 14-15, 2024 - “Reading the Bible Better:  Ancient Scripture for Post-Modern Readers” - John H. Walton (Ph.D. Hebrew Union College) is a Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at Wheaton College and Graduate School where he taught for twenty-two years. His areas of expertise include the importance of the ancient Near East for interpreting the Old Testament as well as the dialogue between science and faith.

April 23, 2024 - Matthew Kaemingk is the Richard John Mouw Assistant Professor of Faith and Public Life at Fuller Theological Seminary where he also serves as the Director of the Richard John Mouw Institute of Faith and Public Life. His research and teaching focus on marketplace theology, Islam and political ethics, and public theology.
April 13, 2023 - Author of more than 200 articles, 1,500+ published sermons, hundreds of YouTube vlogs and over 70 books, Leonard Sweet’s recent publications include Rings of Fire (his successor book to the best-selling Soul Tsunami), Telos (with Len Wilson), Contextual Intelligence (with Michael Beck), Jesus Human (forthcoming 2023), and Designer Jesus (forthcoming 2023).
March 2, 2022 - Richard grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He has been married to Lisa since 1983 and has three adult children. He is also the proud grandfather to five grandsons and one granddaughter. Richard earned a B.A. in history from the University of Saskatchewan. He has an M.Div and Ph.D. in church history from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and an honorary doctorate from Dallas Baptist University.
September 20, 2021 - Aaron serves at Dordt University as the Chief of Staff and Dean of Chapel. His wife of 22 years, Nicole Baart is a best-selling author (novelist) and together they have 5 kids from 4 different countries, ranging in age from 11-18. In 2013, they co-founded One Body One Hope, a church planting and community development non-profit in Liberia, West Africa. Aaron writes and speaks regularly on issues of culture, missions, and sexuality. In 2014, he co-authored Vivid: Deepening Your Colors with Syd Hielema.
